Seasider Sports plans new activities for Winter 2019 to increase school spirit, healthy living

Seasider Sports announced it has multiple new games, sports, and events to kick off the 2019 Winter Semester. Seasider Sports staff encouraged students to join together on building school spirit and healthy lifestyles by participating in this year’s events.
 

Devotional: Tanners focus on the blessings of 'becoming’ like Christ

President John Tanner and his wife, Susan, spoke to a packed audience in the Cannon Activities Center on Jan. 15 at the first devotional of the Winter 2019 Semester.  Sister Tanner spoke about the importance of doing things with real intent in the new year.

Birth classes on campus help prepare young parents and increase positive experience

There are approximately 100 babies born yearly at Temple View Apartments on the BYU-Hawaii campus, according to senior missionary and Nurse Kathy Edgar. She works with pregnant BYU–Hawaii students and their spouses.

Korean dinner offers cultural choices for students at the Caf

Covered in red, white and blue, BYU-Hawaii’s cafeteria displayed the colors of the Korean flag around its environment on Jan. 22 while students lined up for a variety of food such as bibimbap, kalbi chicken or shoyu-glazed potatoes.
