Local church leaders want students to use JustServe program to serve non-members

BYU-Hawaii church leaders said they are working to encourage service opportunities within the Laie community through the Just Serve website organized by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. The website allows students to propose, plan, and volunteer for events happening nearby.

Donors took an hour out of their day and 16 ounces of blood out of their bodies to give service by participating in the blood drive held by The Blood Bank of Hawaii in the Aloha Center Ballroom on Thursday, June 4. The drive went from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
