Softball falls short on opening day

Lady Seasiders softball lost their first two games 4-2 and 7-3 on opening day in a double-header against the visiting Western Washington Vikings at the BYU-Hawaii softball fields on Feb. 7.
 

Food Fest unites the people of Laie

There were spices and smells in the air as different meats were being barbecued and prepared by students in 17 associations and making 22 dishes along with several drinks offered at Food Fest in the Little Circle on Feb. 4.

Basketball takes a win against Holy Names

Both the men's and women's Seasider basketball teams won their home games against the Holy Names University Hawks teams on Saturday, Jan. 21. The women's team won 54-51 and the men's  won 84-78.
 

Golf team member moved forward to be baptized in the LDS Church

Christian Pate, a senior studying finance from Las Vegas, Nevada and a player in BYU-Hawaii Golf Team, said he has been seeing many blessings since he started learning about the Gospel of Jesus Christ and became a member of the LDS Church on June 7, 2016.
 

Women's Seasiders lose to Concordia Eagles, small forward makes career record

The lady Seasiders basketball team put up a good fight against the Concordia University Irvine Eagles Thursday, Jan. 5, but were unable to come out on top, losing the game with a final score of 83-64.
