Lady Seasiders lose late lead and fall in overtime

The Lady Seasiders blew a ten-point lead in the final minute of the game, eventually losing in overtime to the visiting Hilo Vulcans 79-72 on Jan. 14 in the Canon Activities Center.
 

Dance Team member thankful for time on team, says it's great end to dance career

Danielle Moss, a junior biology major from Utah, said being a part of the BYU-Hawaii Dance Team for its last semester is “a great way to end my dance career.”

Three BYU-Hawaii athletes recognized by Pac West Conference

Sydney Eddy, Safia Sheik, and Jake McRae, all members of BYU-Hawaii sports teams, were named and given awards in the PacWest Conference. They each shared their joy and gratitude for playing for BYUH, as well as their feelings towards athletics finishing.

Earl Veloria: All-American volleyball player

Earl Veloria first played basketball for BYU-Hawaii when the university was known as the Church College of Hawaii in the early 1960s. Veloria was born in 1939 on the southeast side of the Big Island of Puna.
