On the night of May 29, students and community members alike gathered in the Little Circle for BYUHSA’s Screen on the Green, which was a showing of “Big Hero 6.” Popcorn and all kinds of fun were present, and students raved about the experience.

The Little Circle was truly a sight, with blankets stretched all over, and everything from chairs to giant blow-up mattresses and pool toys were present so that all could be comfortable.

Eric Harline, a sophomore majoring in molecular biology from Colorado, said, “It was really cool experience because we got to watch a fun movie outside, and Big Hero 6 is probably my favorite Pixar movie right now.”

BYUHSA has to plan in advance for these types of activities, they set the night and pray for good weather, and Friday did not fail them. A lot of work goes in to these activities. Those who provide the screen must be organized, as well as booking the Little Circle and providing the popcorn that everyone delighted in.

Joshua Wallace, a junior majoring in music from California, said, “it was the best idea from BYUH in long time. We should hold them more often.”

The raving continued as more students expressed their opinions on the Screen on the Green night. Paige Knight, a sophomore majoring in biomedical sciences from California said, “It was pretty fun, I liked how the school is trying o do activities to bring the students together.”

Beau Kapealiela, a junior majoring in music and international cultural studies from Washington said, “It was a lot of fun having an event that brought students and community members together, I would love to do it again.”

The hopes for BYUHSA to put on another Screen on the Green night are high all over campus, as students loved the show.
