AJ Caduada reflects on time at BYU-Hawaii as she prepares graduation speech

As she looked back on her time at BYUH, Caduada shared how the spiritual environment and supportive teachers are some of the things that made her experience wonderful and prepare her for future motherhood.

Parenting thru Play group allows parents to bond with children
February 12, 2019
Loud chatter filled the room as children walked in with their parents and started playing with toys. Clinical Counselor and Disability Services Coordinator Leilani Auna gathered the families in a circle and started the Parenting thru Playgroup with a prayer. Parenting thru Play, sponsored by Counseling and Disability Services, promotes parent-child interaction and routines for children. The group meets every Wednesday and Friday from 9 to 11 a.m. in the Living and Learning Resource Center.

McKay Classroom Building on Nov. 1 as students and the BYU–Hawaii Genuine Gold Society joined the President’s Council and LDS Philanthropies for the President’s Dinner, an evening designed to acknowledge the donors and allow them to see the difference they are making in the lives of BYUH students.
