Seven Brothers is reaching out to BYU-Hawaii students, by offering a meal card. Owner of Seven Brothers, Seek Hannemann, described the launch of the new card. “It’s the same idea of the Cafeteria meal plan on campus. It is going to be 12 meals on the card. When you come in, you can get any burger combo with a drink. The value of the card is up to $150, but we are selling it for $100. It is like you are a member and they punch your card and it’s worth 12 meals.” The meal card provides students on and off-campus to get away from their everyday food and treat themselves to a Seven Brothers meal. Ashanti Bruce, a sophomore in business from Idaho, said, “I think it’s a good idea. It will give students a chance to go out with friends more. I like it because the food is great and it’s a fun place to hang out for nights out. It is nice especially for those who eat at the café at school to have different options of where they can eat.” Hannemann said, “There are a lot of students in the cafeteria with meal plans. The card gives them options to go somewhere else and kind of separate themselves from the cafeteria food. It could be a good idea for a date or night outs.” The cards are available for sale now at seven brothers. Along with the meal card, new additions have been added to the Seven Brothers menu. With their base menu, Seven Brothers has been adding weekly and monthly specials. Hannemann discussed the recent specials, “During the summer time we did our own style of hotdogs with cheese, onions, barbeque sauce and our house sauce. The hotdogs got super popular so we kept it on our menu. The other one was our pesto burger that we launched three weeks ago. It’s still going through its demo stage but it’s going very well. It is one that we will probably keep on the menu.” Jeff Facer, an enthusiastic Seven Brothers fan, and a sophomore studying marine biology from California, said, “The atmosphere of the seven brothers restaurant is extremely relaxed, and a chill spot to hang out with your friends. Good food, music and vibes keep me coming there on a regular basis. The card is going to be a good hookup to get some better food for all students. I am pretty stoked about it. I am all about the pesto burger.” With arms extending to emphasizing his point he continued, “Every bite brings mouthwatering sensations.” Seven Brothers desert menu is also a big hit. Each week they have a different fruity flavor of their popular milkshakes to add to the chocolate and vanilla flavors. They are working on expanding their desert menu even more to meet popular demand. “I love Seven Brothers. I go there every week. I get as much food as I can and I am always happy when I leave. It will be a good investment for me to buy the card. I cannot wait,” said Mark Cadwallader a senior studying marketing from California.
