Students share their favorite dishes served at the Club Dining Services

The Club Dining Services, known to students as "the Cafe," serves a variety of foods on a daily basis. BYU-Hawaii students shared some of their favorite meals from the Cafe.

Louis Brown, a senior from Alaska majoring in international cultural studies, said, “I like the corn chowder.”

Max Moncur, a sophomore from California majoring in business management, said, “I like Enchiladas or fish and chips.”

Mary Deyro, a freshmen from the Philippines majoring in psychology, shared her favorite dish in the cafeteria. “Their Friday breakfast! The fried rice!”

Tomy Huang, a sophomore from Taiwan majoring in computer science, said, “Stir fry is my favorite.”

Moanaui Kalamia, a freshman from New Zealand majoring in biochemistry, said, “I like the pulled beef sandwiches.”

Isaiah Villalon, a senior majoring in business from the Philippines, said, “Chicken katsua!”

Christopher Tsai, a senior from Taiwan majoring in biochemistry, said, “I would go with stir fry.”

Andrea Vásquez, a junior from Peru majoring in biomedicine, said, “I will say Teriyaki chicken!”

Jane Tidwell, a freshman from Alaska majoring in exercise science, said, “Lettuce, or salad in general. That’s basically what I eat there every day.”

Amanda Peay, a freshman from Washington majoring in exercise science, said, “I like salad with everything on top!”

Isaiah Piutau, a freshman majoring in math from Tonga, said, “I just go in and eat everything. But specifically, Hawaiian barbeque chicken is my favorite.”

Peni Taumoepeau, a freshman with an undecided major from Tonga, said, “Toast! I will go with toast bread.”
