Ke Alaka'i is an award-winning student media group that publishes a website, social media, weekly podcasts and up to eight printed magazines a year at BYU–Hawaii. Its mission correlates with the mission of the university to prepare students of Oceania and the Asian Rim and around the world to be lifelong disciples of Jesus Christ and leaders in their families, communities, chosen fields, and in building the kingdom of God.

LeeAnn Lambert is the adviser to the Ke Alaka'i and is a Communications instructor at BYU-Hawaii. She has been a copy editor and writer in the newspaper industry for more than a decade and has now been in higher education for more than 25 years. She graduated in Journalism from BYU in Provo and has a master’s degree in education focusing on teaching writing and multimedia from Sonoma State University in Northern California.
