The wait for weights is over as the BYU-Hawaii Fitness Center reopens

After more than two months of being closed, the weight room of the BYU-Hawaii Fitness Center reopened on Monday, Sept. 16. Initially only planned to close for two weeks at the beginning of July to redo the lighting and ceiling, asbestos was found in the ceiling which lead to an extended closure to remove the minerals.

Being cast into the Book of Mormon video series is spiritually rewarding, says students

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is producing Book of Mormon videos, similar to the Bible videos, according to LDS.org. Production began in 2017 and currently, the Books of Mosiah and Alma are being filmed. Students from BYU-Hawaii said they have been cast for shoots in the Hawaiian Islands.
